Javorina is a small village which you can find in north bulge of Rogova close to Bielanske Tatras. First settlers had been worked in smeltings works or iron-mills but good conditions for permanent living have not been there until 1860. Lately the village had to change the orientation thanks to a lack of ore. Kristian Kraft Hohenlohe, a Prrusian prince, has helped to the village with it. Thay made there a breeding of exotic animals in local woods. After that he built a wooden church and a hunting-lodge in Javorina.
